Business profile information

Rave'It processes account details and the business profile information an owner chooses to save, including the business name, optional address, Google Place ID, uploaded logo, and selected business photos. The Place ID and address stay in the owner’s private workspace. The business name, logo, and selected photos appear on that business’s legacy public QR feedback page; the new QR review page displays its resolved business name. Uploaded images are stored through Polsia’s file storage service.

Google Places information

When you search, your search text is sent to Google Maps Platform to find matching places. Current names, addresses, ratings, photos, and attributions are requested again when needed and used transiently to display the owner’s selection. The owner reviews and saves a business name in their profile; other returned details and Google photo resources are not retained.

Google handles information it receives under the Google Privacy Policy and the applicable Google Maps Platform terms.

Customer feedback and video use

A customer using the newer /r/[slug] QR review page can submit a 1–5 rating and written feedback without creating an account. After the feedback is saved, the page shows the THANKYOU10 coupon for any rating. The thank-you discount is for feedback and is not conditional on star rating. This form does not ask for an email or photo. The separate legacy /feedback/[businessId] page accepts a rating, written feedback, optional reply email, optional photo, and optional video-use consent; that legacy flow does not offer a coupon. When a reply email is supplied, legacy feedback is first recorded for dashboard reply; if recording is unavailable, or no reply email is supplied, Rave'It may send a notification containing the feedback and any photo to its company inbox. Submitted QR reviews and feedback are stored. A review is linked to a business profile only when its slug resolves to exactly one profile; an unknown or ambiguous slug is saved without an owner-profile link.

On the legacy page, video-use consent is a separate, optional, unchecked choice: “I agree Rave'It may use my submitted feedback and photo in a promotional video.” When accepted, the consent choice, time, and disclosure version are stored separately from the rating and written feedback. Leaving it unchecked does not prevent submission. The /r/[slug] review page also displays “Video created!” after saving, but that message is not a generated or stored video artifact.
